Our lab focuses on microbial biofilms, with the aim of understanding the signals and processes that promote biofilm formation, and finding new methods for treating biofilm-related medical, industrial and environmental problems. We are also interested in other aspects of microbial physiology, including bacterial virulence and metabolic engineering.
